The Auto Collision Online Competency Profile site was developed to support instructors as they track student progress toward NATEF task competency. The learning management system is Moodle 2.7. The online Competency Profile can be used with and will support any Auto Collision curriculum.
Take a video tour (via YouTube) of an Overview of the Auto Collision Online Competency Profile and/or click on the accordion below to access overview documentation.
This online site is divided into the five Auto Collision NATEF content areas (modules). Each module is divided into separate topic areas addressed in each Auto Collision NATEF content area.
Each module topic is divided into two parts:
The first part contains the job sheets aligned to the area of emphasis and the alpha designation in the task list. The job sheets are Word documents and may be viewed online and/or printed by the student or the instructor.
The second part of each topic contains the job sheet evaluation option. In Moodle this option is called an Assignment. This functionality allows the instructors to quickly record each student’s employability level (a score 0-5) for each task. Sometimes more than one job sheet will need to be completed to fulfill all of the requirements of a task. The rating for each task for each student should reflect employability readiness rather than the grades given in the class.
When the ratings have been entered for each student for each task the result will be a competency profile for every student.
The students have access to view their grades and check their progress.
The competency profile may be printed using the web browsers of your choice. Students will have a permanent record of their achievement toward auto collision task competency.
Subscriptions are available for 3 years for $1,800.00 and 5 years for $2,500.00. There is no limit on student enrollments per school site per subscription term.
