Nurse Assistant (UAP)

The Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Online Curriculum offers a thorough overview of basic health care procedures along with the skills and knowledge that support them. It is an ideal classroom component for individuals entering the field of nursing assistant or as an in-service review for those already on the job.

The UAP curriculum will no longer be available through Moodle as of November 30, 2026. Current customers can continue to use Moodle until that date. 

Meanwhile, the IMS staff is updating the curriculum. It will be available through the following formats: Canvas, SCORM, and PDF. We will keep you updated regarding an anticipated date for the new curriculum and formats.

The curriculum offers the following online and printable resources: 

• Procedures and reviews
• Supplemental handouts
• Interactive enhancements
• Formative reviews within lessons to improve knowledge retention
• Student tracking.

This online curriculum may be substituted for up to sixty (60) hours of classroom instruction.
